Giving to Graded Events
Throughout the year, the Office of Institutional Advancement hosts informational, fundraising, and stewardship events. At these gatherings, we share our programmatic and construction plans, build community, and celebrate important milestones.
The Centennial Campaign Executive Committee plays an instrumental role in the success of Graded’s fundraising initiatives and events, and we would like to thank our committee members for their generosity, time, and extraordinary dedication to the institution.
October 2019: Taste of Design Thinking Leadership Donor Breakfast and Design Thinking Course
While leading design thinking workshops for Graded faculty and staff, Ariel Raz of the K12 Lab at the Stanford d.School conducted a special one-day session for Graded’s Leadership Donors.
November 2019: Family Quiz Night - 2.2 by '22 Initiative
Students, teachers, and parents had a blast during a special family quiz night! Organized by a group of High School students, the trivia night supported the 2.2 by ‘22 Initiative, a student-led fundraising project aiming to raise R$2.2 million by June 2022 for the Graded Scholar Program Endowment. The competition was fierce among contestants, but the energy was exhilarating!
Alumni Events
October 2019: Boston BRASA Summit Conference
More than 40 Graded alumni gathered in Boston at the Brazilian Student Association (BRASA) Summit Conference. At a Graded-sponsored brunch, they reconnected and learned about the school’s latest initiatives and developments.
November 2019: Alumni Attend Graded Thanksgiving
Every November, students, parents, faculty and staff, alumni, and friends of Graded eagerly await the Graded Thanksgiving celebration. This year, the Graded community enjoyed many time-honored favorites including the family Turkey Trot and traditional Thanksgiving meal. Graded musicians entertained the crowd and participants enjoyed games and shopping at the annual bazaar.
May 2020: Alumni Career Panels
The Office of Institutional Advancement organized a special career panel for Graded seniors, inviting young alumni working in the fields of technology, engineering, business, marketing, and law. Alumni panelists shared their college and professional experiences, answered questions, and offered advice.
